Wild Adventures Family Fun!

Our family has slowly been breaking free of the mentality that we are stuck at home! To celebrate, as the twins approach their 2nd birthdays, we decided to purchase Wild Adventure passes for the next year. We are looking forward to weekends away just connecting as a family of seven! We know there are numerous campsites up north that will accomodate the seven of us. Perhaps we will even find a hotel with family suites where we will not exceed maximum room capacity! This weekend we took a day trip and had a blast! Nataly and Noelle are just bursting with excitement for new experiences, and Wild Adventures provided plenty! Nathan and Elisha revealed the true beauty of the day as they experienced the joy of participating in our little ones' adventures! From the climbing playground to the mini-coasters, what a special treat to see our children enjoying one another and the simple pleasure of sharing in each others' happiness.

Blue Like Jazz!

I read this book a couple weeks ago even though Pastor Dave gave it to me years ago. Funny, how God times things. This book is just what I needed to bring order to all my rapidly changing thoughts and beliefs about life. I hope to formulate these jumbled ideas into my own words and eventually record coherent thoughts here for myself.

The very exciting news is that 6 weeks ago, after two years spent changing the book into a screenplay, the movie production was cancelled due to budget issues. However, two random fans decided God had bigger ideas, so they started raising money on kickstarter.com! Ten days into it, they had reached the goal of $125,000! The movie will be made! Again, God did not just stop there, and money continued to pour in! The fundraiser closed this past Monday with approx. 4500 people contributing almost $350,000! Joshua and I were blessed to contribute and will be looking forward to attending the premiere sometime next fall!!
